This week I finished up the 1926 Model T Street Rod for my neighbor and friend Albert. The final touch was given to the sun visor with shaping, fitting, and finalizing with a polished stainless steel panel.
Today I am extending the fiberglass fenders down to the radiator cowl panel using a paper pattern to cut out the the shape from 3003 aluminum with a thickness of .090.
Today I am checking the fender position and leveling the headlamp bracket mounts. I will fab and bend the headlamp bar using my pattern from a welding rod.
Today I spent some time up the road at Albert’s shop, detailing the fender support bracket that was cut to shape. Now detail grinding with a flapper disk to clean up the welds and edges.
