We will be heading out to Dennison MN for 2 metal shaping workshops this month. The first session is April 29th-May 1st and the second session is May 6th-8th. We still have a few openings available so if you are interested, shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The workshops will be held at Dan Pate’s shop who has been offered a Ferrari buck for our use in training. Our focus will be on coach building, fabrication of aluminum and steel panels and all aspects of metals shaping using hand tools and metal shaping machinery in Dan’s shop. I will be demonstrating the metal shaping techniques I learned while an apprentice in England under master metal shapers. Sharing my knowledge aquired while working in prestegious fabrication/restoration shops for 30 years in California, offering my experience with traditional hand tools and power hammers to give tips and tricks on coach building as well as give the participants hands on training using the buck provided. Using the metal shaping “roadmap” to getting a project to the finished stage with fit and finish.
